Date et heure
jeudi 9 décembre 2021, 13:30 - 14:45
Description

As the circumpolar Arctic experiences unprecedented change, the number of researchers conducting northern studies has increased dramatically, and institutions across the globe look set to increase their investment in social and natural sciences research programmes based in Arctic communities and out on the land, ice and ocean. Simultaneously, a significant rise in community-led research programmes have increased the amount of scientific work done by northern communities, for northern communities. Across these sectors of Arctic science, communication and engagement with scientists, stakeholders, traditional knowledge holders, youth, elders and key decision makers are recognized as key scientific research outputs. This session seeks to share success stories, tips and tricks, new ideas and creative and inspiring adventures in Arctic science communication, whether its on the land, at home, in the lab, or on the screen.
